LEGISLATION ON INDUSTRIAL, RADIATION, AND NUCLEAR SAFETY IS BEING ADVANCED

At the regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, a draft law aimed at advancing legislation in the fields of industrial, radiation, and nuclear safety is being reviewed article by article in its second reading.
✅ The draft legislation introduces amendments and additions to existing legislative acts to optimize the state regulatory oversight system and refine legal relations across industrial, radiation, and nuclear safety, as well as the peaceful use of atomic energy.
✅ In particular, provisions are being introduced into the Code of Administrative Responsibility establishing liability for violating rules and standards in the field of atomic energy utilization. Furthermore, aligned with administrative reforms enacted in recent years, amendments are being introduced to define and clarify the statutory authorities and legal status of competent oversight bodies across several laws.
