In his speech, the Head of State outlined important tasks for developing industry, launching new capacities, increasing investments, producing high-value-added goods, and introducing modern technologies. 📊 Pay attention to the numbers: 🏭 In January–May 2026, industrial products worth 505.9 trillion soums were produced in Uzbekistan. This is 7.9 percent more compared to the same period last year. 🏢 Today, 62 thousand industrial enterprises operate in our country. 📈 At the end of 2025, the volume of industrial production reached 1.1 quadrillion soums, increasing by 6.8 percent within a year. 🏗 As our President emphasized, this year 105 new industrial and infrastructure projects worth 27 billion dollars will be launched. ⚙️ The formation of a list of over 600 new products for localization by strategic enterprises will create an additional market worth 1 billion dollars for entrepreneurs. 🧪 Meanwhile, the launch of 40 new production capacities in chemical clusters serves to expand the production of high-value-added goods. Each of these figures means a new enterprise, a new technology, a new job, and a new economic opportunity. However, there is one crucial aspect: The stable operation of new capacities begins, first of all, with their safe operation. Today, at a time when Uzbekistan's industry is developing rapidly, industrial safety is becoming an integral part of economic development. Building a new plant is a great achievement. Equipping it with modern technologies is another achievement. Yet, operating it continuously and safely without posing a threat to human life and health is the most important task. In this sense, compliance with safety requirements in activities related to industry, energy, chemistry, oil and gas, metallurgy, hoisting structures, radiation, and nuclear technologies is an essential condition for the stability of not just production, but the entire economy. If 62 thousand industrial enterprises are operating in our country today, this also means 62 thousand points of responsibility for safety. Therefore, the tasks facing the Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety Committee are clear: 🔹 identifying risks in industrial facilities in advance; 🔹 ensuring compliance with safety requirements; 🔹 strengthening preventive and control measures; 🔹 assisting in the safe introduction of modern technologies; 🔹 protecting human life and health; 🔹 making a worthy contribution to the stable and accident-free operation of industry. After all, 505.9 trillion soums worth of industrial output is a major result. 105 new projects worth 27 billion dollars are a great opportunity. But the true effectiveness of these opportunities is measured by their safe and stable operation. Industry develops — safety is strengthened. Safety is strengthened — production operates stably. A stable industry means a strong economy and a prosperous life. The Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety Committee — on the path to safe industry and sustainable development.
