Seminar on the Safety of Gas and Fuel Filling Stations Held in Namangan

🤝 The event involved the Deputy Head of the Namangan Region Department of Emergency Situations, the Head of Uzenergoinspeksiya, and responsible employees of the Hududgaz Namangan gas supply branch.
🔹 During the seminar, participants discussed issues related to industrial safety, technical safety, prevention of accidents and incidents, fire protection, and the safe organization of technological processes.
K. Nurmatov, Head of the Namangan Territorial Department of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, spoke in detail about the consequences of accidents and incidents that are occurring or may occur at gas and fuel filling stations, as well as measures aimed at preventing them.
⚠️ It was also emphasized that station managers and engineering-technical staff must take a highly responsible approach to technological processes, regularly conduct explanatory work among employees, keep fire protection equipment in constant readiness, and continuously improve the knowledge and skills of personnel.
✅ At the end of the seminar, relevant instructions and assignments were given regarding strict compliance with industrial safety standards and regulatory technical document requirements, especially during filling and unloading operations.
During the event, participants were also provided with booklets prepared jointly with partner organizations on compliance with safety rules.
📌 The Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety will continue systematic preventive, explanatory and supervisory measures to ensure compliance with safety requirements at fuel filling stations. In addition, in accordance with Resolution No. 223 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 4 May 2026 (https://lex.uz/uz/docs/-8176261), citizens and business entities may report violations of industrial safety, labor protection or fire safety requirements through the Committee’s special platform or hotline. Citizens who provide confirmed information about violations will be encouraged and rewarded in accordance with the established procedure.
