A small oversight can lead to serious danger
During the gas discharge process, the proper condition of the tanker, hoses, fittings, valves, connecting devices and safety signs is of particular importance. Therefore, before accepting road tankers, it is necessary to conduct an external inspection and check the required markings, seals and technical condition.
These requirements are not merely a formality. First and foremost, they serve to protect human life and health, the environment, production facilities and property.
Only responsible and trained personnel should participate in the process
During gas receiving or discharge, the operator, driver and other responsible personnel involved in the process must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and strictly comply with applicable safety rules.
It is also important to observe speed limits within the facility, prevent unauthorized persons from approaching hazardous areas, and pay close attention to warning signs and safety instructions.
Disconnecting a hose under pressure is strictly prohibited
One of the most dangerous situations during gas discharge is attempting to disconnect a hose or connecting device while it is still under pressure. Such an action may lead to gas leakage, fire, explosion or another emergency situation that could harm human health.
Therefore, any technical operation must be carried out only after the pressure has been fully brought under control and only by responsible personnel in accordance with the established procedure.
Safety rules are the responsibility of every participant
Ensuring safety at facilities involved in gas filling, receiving and discharge is not the responsibility of a single employee or manager alone. Drivers, operators, technical staff and facility supervisors all share equal responsibility in this process.
Every sign, every inspection and every warning is an important requirement aimed at preventing potential hazards in advance.
The Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers calls on citizens, drivers and responsible persons working at hazardous production facilities to strictly comply with industrial safety requirements during the transportation, receiving and discharge of gas.
Remember: following safety rules is not only a legal requirement, but also an important responsibility in protecting human life and public peace.
