📌 As part of the forum programme, the panel session titled “Strategic Partnership between the European Union and Central Asia in the Development of Investment, Trade and Sustainable Infrastructure” focused on expanding regional economic cooperation, supporting sustainable infrastructure projects, and creating a favourable and reliable environment for investors.
⚙️ These areas are directly linked to the activities of the Committee, as compliance with technical, industrial, radiation and nuclear safety requirements is of particular importance in the implementation of large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. In particular, ensuring safety standards during the design, construction and operation of industrial facilities contributes to the sustainability and reliability of investment projects.
⚡ The forum also featured a panel session titled “Energy Transition: Renewable Energy, Nuclear and Hydrogen in Central Asia”. The session addressed key issues related to the modernisation of the region’s energy system, the wider introduction of renewable energy sources, the development of nuclear energy programmes, and the potential of green hydrogen.
🔎 The participation of the Committee representatives in these sessions was important in terms of ensuring safety in the energy and industrial sectors, studying international approaches to radiation and nuclear safety, and learning from advanced global experience.
🌐 It should be noted that safety issues play a priority role in the development of sustainable infrastructure, modern energy and industrial projects. In this regard, the Committee pays special attention to studying and implementing international standards, best practices and modern approaches in the fields of industrial, radiation and nuclear safety.
✅ The panel sessions held within the framework of the forum served as an important platform for further strengthening dialogue between government bodies, international organisations, investors and experts, as well as for shaping an investment environment based on the principles of safe and sustainable development.
