The 12th Meeting of the CIS Industrial Policy Council Was Held

The Republic of Uzbekistan was represented at the meeting by a delegation headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, Akhadkhon Ikromjonovich Isokjonov. 💬 The delegation supported initiatives aimed at ensuring safety in industrial sectors, introducing modern technologies, increasing production efficiency, and developing industrial cooperation between the states. 🎙️ Yersayin Kairgaziyevich Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a welcoming speech to the meeting participants. 📊 In addition, Isodjon Yatim Kurbonzoda, First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, provided information on the work carried out during the period of the Republic of Tajikistan's chairmanship of the Council. 🗳️ At the meeting, Yersayin Kairgaziyevich Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the CIS Industrial Policy Council for the next term. 📋 The agenda included topical issues aimed at expanding cooperation in various industrial sectors. ⚙️ In particular, a set of measures developed for the practical implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation of the CIS Member States on the Development of Heavy Machine Building, signed on June 5, 2025, and entered into force on February 13, 2026, was approved. 🔬 It reflects issues of strengthening cooperation between enterprises in the sector, implementing innovative solutions, and expanding the exchange of advanced production technologies and competencies. 🍞 The Republic of Tajikistan presented a draft Agreement on Cooperation of the CIS Member States in the Food Industry. Within the framework of the project, special attention was paid to the development of modern equipment, the creation of a network of scientific and educational centers, the exchange of experience on investment projects, as well as the introduction of digital technologies and robotization processes. 🚢 A draft set of measures for the development of cooperation in civil shipbuilding and the production of marine equipment was also discussed. It envisages the formation of cooperation chains for the production of high-tech products, the exchange of experience regarding state support mechanisms, and the formation of a list of priority products. 💻 During the meeting, the Concept of Cooperation of the CIS Member States in the Field of Electronic Industry Development and the Action Plan for its implementation were approved. 📈 Mikhail Myskin, Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee, reported on the results of the Council's activities in 2022–2025 and the prospects for future cooperation in the industrial sector. 🌍 It is worth noting that in today's global economic conditions, the development of industrial cooperation, ensuring technological independence, and the broad implementation of innovations and safe production principles are among the important directions of cooperation between the states. 📌 At the end of the meeting, the approved documents will be submitted to the CIS Executive Committee in accordance with the established procedure for consideration by higher bodies. 🇺🇿 📅 The next meeting of the CIS Industrial Policy Council is scheduled to be held in 2027 in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
