During the two-day working visit, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation in ensuring nuclear safety and providing scientific and technical support.
The following issues were the focus of the visit: 🔹 Foreign experience and technologies: On the first day, the Belarusian delegation presented the activities of their organization and the system of scientific and technical support for the Belarusian State Nuclear Regulatory Authority (Gosatomnadzor). In addition, the "RADUGA-EU" software package, which allows for the modeling and analysis of nuclear processes, aroused great interest among the participants. 🔹 In-depth analysis: The second day of the meeting was devoted to narrow-format discussions among specialists. A detailed exchange of experience took place regarding the procedures for conducting safety expertise, the development of relevant regulatory and legal documents, as well as deterministic and probabilistic safety analysis of facilities.
It should be noted that this meeting was organized to ensure the implementation of Resolution No. 27 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 21, 2025, in particular, to establish the activities of the newly created Scientific and Technical Center based on international standards and to expand foreign cooperation.
🤝 Advanced international experience is an important factor in enhancing the guarantee of nuclear safety in our country.
