Within the framework of ensuring the execution of this resolution, the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety is taking the operation of all amusement rides in the territory of our republic under systematic and strict control.

What innovations are introduced to the field by the resolution?

The new resolution introduces a number of important changes and strict requirements in the field of using amusement rides:

• Unified state register: From now on, all amusement rides will be included in a unified State Register, and their electronic accounting will be maintained. This ensures the accuracy and transparency of information about each ride's passport, year of manufacture, technical condition, and the date of its last safety inspection.

• Strict technical regulation: Unified safety standards (Technical Regulation) for the design, manufacture, installation, adjustment, operation, and disposal of amusement rides have been approved. Henceforth, the use of devices that do not meet the requirements, are homemade, or have not passed the relevant safety tests is absolutely prohibited.

• Mandatory technical inspection: It is established that amusement rides must mandatorily undergo a full technical test before being put into operation for the first time, as well as during operation (before the start of the season) within the specified periods.

What is required from entrepreneurs and park administrations?

Business entities providing entertainment services and heads of amusement parks must bring their activities into compliance with the legislation:

• All local amusement rides must be inventoried, registered, and included in the State Register through the regional departments of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety within the specified timeframe.

• Operators and technical staff managing each amusement ride are required to undergo special training and know how to safely evacuate citizens in emergency situations (for example, during power outages).

• The technical passport of the amusement ride, operating instructions, and acts confirming its daily technical serviceability must be maintained on a constant basis.

The main goal is human life and health

The main goal behind the adoption of this resolution is to protect the lives of our children and citizens from unfortunate accidents. Inspectors of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety will carry out on-site studies and preventive measures in an enhanced mode regarding the technical condition of amusement rides, their registration in the state register, and compliance with safety rules.
