📍 April 21: Site Visit On the first day of the visit, delegation members visited the Forish district of the Jizzakh region and inspected the construction site of the first NPP in our country. The guests were briefed on the progress of work at the site.
🤝 April 22: Discussion of the Grant Project Today, a meeting was held between representatives of the Committee's Radiation and Nuclear Safety Department, the "Scientific and Technical Center for Radiation and Nuclear Safety" State Unitary Enterprise, the NPP Construction Directorate under the "Uzatom" Agency, and the Norwegian delegation.
The parties are discussing the terms of a grant project for the development of two regulatory documents in the field of radiation and nuclear safety.
🎯 Main Objectives of the Project:

Aligning and improving the national regulatory and legal framework for radiation and nuclear safety in accordance with international standards;

Establishing the exchange of advanced experience and knowledge between the two states and further strengthening safety supervision.
