Important consultations on nuclear material safeguards are being held in Vienna involving Uzbekistan and international partners. The event was attended by the Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety, national research institutions, the IAEA, and partners including the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), the International Nuclear Safeguards Engagement Program (INSEP), national laboratories, and expert organizations.
