Uzbekistan launches its largest media project of the year — “Media haftalik”

In this context, a large-scale educational and practical project — “Media haftalik” — has been launched in Uzbekistan, bringing together journalists, bloggers, and press secretaries on a unified platform.
The project is implemented by the Content Center in cooperation with partner organizations and is expected to involve approximately 12,500 participants across the country.
From March 30 to June 26, 5-day intensive training seminars and masterclasses will be held in all regions.
Combination of theory and practice
The “Media haftalik” program focuses on practical experience. Participants will receive training in:
- content creation;
- fact-checking;
- digital hygiene;
- SMM;
- strategic communications.
Trainings will be conducted by leading media experts, editors, and producers.
Sessions will be organized in separate tracks for TV journalists, print media representatives, bloggers, and government press secretaries. Participants will receive certificates upon completion.

The project will be conducted as follows:
- March 30 – April 3: Republic of Karakalpakstan
- April 6 – April 10: Khorezm region
- April 13 – April 17: Surkhandarya region
- April 20 – April 24: Kashkadarya region
- April 27 – May 1: Samarkand region
- May 4 – May 8: Navoi region
- May 11 – May 15: Bukhara region
- May 18 – May 22: Fergana region
- May 25 – May 29: Namangan region
- June 1 – June 5: Andijan region
- June 8 – June 12: Jizzakh region
- June 15 – June 19: Syrdarya region
- June 22 – June 26: Tashkent region and Tashkent city
Practice-oriented approach
The first stage of the project will begin on March 30 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Participants will work with real cases, analyze mistakes, and develop new approaches to media content creation.
Experienced speakers will share insights and recommendations on key trends in modern media development.
Final stage — Media forum
At the end of the program in each region, a Media Forum will be held involving industry representatives.
