At this stage, excavation work for the reactor building is in full swing. Land leveling, concreting, and installation of rebar are actively being carried out. Temporary housing complexes for construction workers have been built to provide comfortable living conditions.
The presentation included plans for localizing the necessary construction materials for the nuclear power plant and expanding the training of specialized personnel for the nuclear industry in universities. This will help establish a strong foundation for the development of nuclear energy in Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, a project to build a monogorod for nuclear power plant workers was discussed. This city will be located 16 kilometers away from the plant and will be designed for 10,000 people. It will provide housing and infrastructure for the workers and their families.
These projects are significant steps in developing nuclear energy in Uzbekistan and enhancing the country's energy independence.
