As part of the program planned by the U.S. Department of State's Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Fund for 2023-2024, with the participation of representatives from the republic, a program is being implemented to ensure chemical safety and manage related risks.
Within this program, equipment worth 245,000 USD was delivered to the Committee on Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety as part of non-repayable technical assistance and was handed over to the Ministries of Defense and Emergency Situations.
On November 30 and December 1 of this year, calibration works for the equipment were carried out. On December 2, the equipment was officially handed over, and from December 2 to 4, a national training on the use of this equipment was held at the Ministry of Defense with the participation of international experts. The event was officially opened with a welcoming and opening speech by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety, S. Yakubekov.
