About the agency
The Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a state organization responsible for elevating youth policy to a new level, effectively addressing issues in the youth sector, providing comprehensive support to young people, and ensuring the efficient organization and coordination of authorized bodies.
The decisions made by the Agency are mandatory for execution by state bodies, other organizations and their officials, as well as by citizens. The Agency is a legal entity with a seal and letterheads featuring the State Emblem and its official name, an independent balance, treasury accounts, and bank accounts.
The Agency's system includes the central office, regional and local branches, as well as the Institute for Youth Studies and the Training of Promising Personnel. Regional branches (except for district and city departments) operate as legal entities. The Youth Affairs Agency was established by Presidential Decree No. PF-6017.
