Press Conference Held on the 2024 Season of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad"
Based on the principle “Youth’s Free Time – Leader’s Work Time”, aimed at effectively organizing youth leisure in local communities and discovering their talents in culture, arts, sports, reading, IT, and intellectual games, the 2024 season includes:
- 26 projects for mahalla youth in five stages (mahalla – sector – district – region – republic),
- 8 projects for school students,
- 5 projects for vocational education students,
- 6 projects for university students,
- 6 projects (for the first time) for employees of ministries, agencies, and organizations.
In 2023, over 12 million young people participated in more than 20 competitions, and over 1,500 participants became winners and prize holders at the national level.
As of today, 824,314 participants have registered on 5tashabbus.uz for the 2024 season, including:
- 75,739 – culture and arts,
- 513,229 – sports,
- 41,497 – IT,
- 162,340 – reading and intellectual games,
- 26,546 – vocational contests,
- 4,948 – Paralympic competitions for youth with disabilities.
The 2024 season will run from March to December.
Key Projects of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" for Mahalla Youth
- Culture and Arts – 2 projects (“Youth’s Voice,” “Young Artists”).
- Sports – 12 competitions (athletics, table tennis, workout, chess, checkers, arm wrestling, gymnastics, streetball, big and mini football (State Security Service Cup), volleyball (Minister of Internal Affairs Cup), kurash wrestling (Prosecutor General’s Cup)).
- IT – 1 project (cybersport tournament).
- Reading & Intellectual Games – 5 projects (“Reading Family,” “Poetry Contest,” “Young Reader,” “Zakovat,” “Foreign Languages”).
- Vocational Contests – (baking, young builder, designer, electrical installer, welder).
- Paralympic Competitions – for youth with disabilities.
New Features in the 2024 Season
In response to participants' feedback, important updates were made:
✅ Extended project duration to up to 10 days instead of 4–5.
✅ Flexible scheduling – youth leaders can set event times convenient for participants.
✅ Same-day online registration enabled on 5tashabbus.uz.
Our Main Goal – to conduct projects based on youth interests, ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience while unlocking their potential.
