During the videoconference on 14 February 2025 and the visit to Andijan Region on 15–16 April, tasks were set by the Head of State to enhance the knowledge and skills of youth leaders.
In fulfilment of these instructions, the Youth Affairs Agency and the Youth Leaders Support Centre approved a schedule of training seminars for July–August. The seminars aimed to coordinate youth-leader activities, provide methodological support, and foster personal development.
From 16 to 24 July, three-hour online sessions via Zoom were held for leaders from Karakalpakstan and the regions, and on 28–29 July for Tashkent City leaders at the Agency’s “Youth Press Club”.
Of 9,008 youth leaders, 8,756 were covered. Lectures were delivered on “Who is a youth leader?”, “Leader psychology”, and “Mahalla seven”. The composition of the “Mahalla seven” and cooperation mechanisms with educational institutions, developed on the President’s instruction, were explained.
Youth projects such as “Ibrat”, “Mutolaa”, “uzchess”, “Ustoz AI”, and “Qizlar akademiyasi” were widely promoted. User numbers of the mega-projects were analysed by mahalla, and methodological assistance was provided to leaders who showed weak promotion.
Problems arising during youth registration on the platform were discussed, and proposals for their elimination were submitted to the project office.
Youth leaders who actively participated in the seminars will be included in the Agency’s young talent pool.
