Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As part of the official visit to the United States, the youth delegation of Uzbekistan held an official meeting with representatives of Coursera Inc, one of the world’s leading online education platforms, headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
 

The meeting was held with Karine Allouche Salanon, Vice President of Coursera for Enterprise. During the discussion, the sides exchanged views on integrating Uzbek youth into the global digital knowledge ecosystem, developing modern skills, improving professional qualifications and competitiveness through online courses, and aligning education with labor market demands.
 

The parties also discussed strengthening strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Coursera in the field of education, engaging youth in high-quality learning resources, and promoting youth employment.
 

It is worth noting that joint projects between Coursera and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies and the IT Education Association are being effectively implemented for the benefit of youth.
