Meeting with UN Deputy Secretary-General and Head of the UN Youth Office Felipe Paulliyer

During the ECOSOC Youth Forum in the USA, the Uzbekistan delegation led by the Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Alisher Sa’dullayev held a meeting with Felipe Paulliyer.

In an uplifting and warm conversation, F. Paulliyer emphasized that Uzbekistan stands out as a true role model in youth policy in the Central Asian region.

Notably, it was recognized that within the framework of the UN Youth Strategy — 2030, Uzbekistan ranks among the top 10 most advanced countries in the world, and the “Pact for the Future” initiative is being implemented as a model specifically in Uzbekistan in the region.

Felipe Paulliyer also announced that he will participate in the Global Youth Festival of Digital “Green” Initiatives to be held on May 15 in the Aral Sea region.

During the visit, a number of new initiatives and documents in the field of youth policy between the UN and Uzbekistan are planned to be adopted.
