A new chapter has been opened in the history of Uzbek football. Now, our compatriot will play for one of the strongest teams in the world – Manchester City.

Former “Lens” player and Uzbekistan national team defender Abduqodir Husanov has been announced as a player for Manchester City. The “Citizens” shared this news across all their platforms. The 20-year-old Husanov will wear the number 45 jersey at City.

According to reports, Manchester City will pay Lens €45 million for this transfer, along with an additional €5 million in bonuses.

Abduqodir Husanov has signed a 4.5+1-year contract with the Manchester club.
