Youth Initiatives Receive Support in Khiva

As part of the “Turkic World Youth Capital 2026” initiative, the Young Entrepreneurs Forum and the Young Leaders Forum were held in Khiva.
The two-day program featured international conferences and thematic sessions focusing on youth entrepreneurship, leadership development, environmental education, and addressing modern challenges and threats.
Drafts of two important documents were discussed during the forums:

A joint program to improve environmental literacy among young people across the Turkic world;

An action plan to counter the spread of extremist and radical ideologies among young people.
These documents are being developed based on initiatives put forward by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 2025 Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Gabala.
During the events, participants agreed to incorporate initiatives proposed by young people into the relevant documents and place them on the agenda of the meeting of ministers responsible for youth and sports from the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
