Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan Expand Cooperation in Youth Policy

The First Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan Youth Forum has officially begun in the city of Khiva.
At the opening ceremony, Alisher Sa’dullayev, Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Yazpo‘lat Keriyev, Chairman of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, addressed the participants and welcomed them to the forum.
During the event, particular emphasis was placed on the steadily developing friendship and cooperation between the young people of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The importance of further strengthening these ties, creating new opportunities for young people, promoting promising initiatives and projects, and expanding the exchange of experience between the youth of the two countries was also highlighted.
The forum will continue until 20 August. Its programme includes presentations, meetings and discussions on the two countries’ experience in youth engagement, ongoing projects, and prospective areas of future cooperation.
The forum is expected to serve as an important platform for taking youth relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to a new level, supporting joint initiatives and developing new collaborative projects in the future.
