“Moda Yo‘li” Competition’s Regional Stage Held in Karakalpakstan

Young female designers selected from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Region presented their original works and clothing collections.
Participants competed in five categories:
- National-style clothing;
- Contemporary clothing;
- Evening wear;
- Office and classic style;
- Avant-garde.
The young designers’ works were evaluated by a jury of fashion and design professionals, including Saida Amir and Liliya Dulat, who travelled from Tashkent.
The evaluation focused on creative approach, originality of concept, artistic, aesthetic and structural solutions, skillful use of materials, and the overall coherence of each collection.
Participants who achieved the highest results in each category earned a place in the national stage of the “Moda Yo‘li” competition.
The regional stages, which began in Karakalpakstan, will continue across other regions of Uzbekistan. In the final stage, the young designers selected from each region will present their creative works at the national competition.
