Today, June 30 – Youth Day is celebrated nationwide and holds significant historical importance. Nine years ago, in 2017, during a meeting with young people, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, proposed celebrating June 30 each year as Youth Day.

This historic decision marked the beginning of a new stage aimed at comprehensively supporting young people, protecting their rights and interests, unlocking their potential, and further increasing their participation in public and state life.

Over the years, Youth Day has become not only a celebration but also an important platform for open dialogue with young people, supporting their initiatives, and creating new opportunities and prospects. Every year, new initiatives, programs, and projects dedicated to youth are announced on this occasion, further strengthening the role and participation of young people in society.

Today, this meaningful tradition continues consistently, and youth have become one of the highest priorities of state policy in the New Uzbekistan.
