A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the final stage of the “Yoshlar ovozi – Bo‘zatov FEST” national competition was held in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan, as part of Youth Month.
It should be noted that from 29 May to 4 June this year, Karakalpakstan hosted the decisive national-stage competitions of this prestigious contest, which brought together talented young people. During this period, the most outstanding participants selected from among thousands of contestants demonstrated their full potential and presented unique performances to the jury and audience.
As is known, this large-scale project was implemented in accordance with the instructions given by the Head of State at the extraordinary session of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on 2 October 2020, as well as the tasks outlined in the minutes of the extended meeting. Since 2021, the competition has been traditionally organised at a high level by the Youth Affairs Agency, the Ministry of Culture, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Notably, a total of 128 young participants became winners and prize-holders at the national stages held between 2021 and 2024.
The competition, which is systematically organised through district (city), regional and national stages, covers four main artistic categories: Bakhshi performance, Traditional Performance, Opera, and Pop Music. To ensure fair competition, participants competed in three age categories (10–15, 16–22, and 23–30 years old).
To properly encourage and support young talents, the total prize fund of the competition this year was set at 2.5 billion UZS. At the national stage, for each category and age group:
1st place winners (12 participants in total) received 50 million UZS each;
