The “Builders of New Uzbekistan” National Skills Competition Has Officially Begun!

The event was attended by senior representatives of the Uzbekistan Mahalla Association, the Deputy Prime Minister — Chairperson of the Family and Women’s Committee, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as officials from the Youth Affairs Agency and the Professional Education Agency.
The project brings together technical school and university students aged 16 to 30, along with temporarily unemployed youth.
The competition covers 10 of the most in-demand fields in today’s labor market, including electrical installation, welding technology, plumbing, medical and social care, drywall and plastering works, hairdressing, automotive maintenance, fashion technologies, culinary arts, and computer graphics.
A total of 270,000 young people from mahallas and 11,000 technical school students have submitted applications to participate in the competition.
