The main part of the meetings focused on youth entrepreneurship and international support for startups. Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, Feruzbek Ablayorov, who participated in the negotiations, reached important agreements in these areas.
In particular:
- Organization of training courses in Japan for young Uzbek entrepreneurs within the “New Generation Entrepreneurs” program;
- Ensuring the participation of Uzbek young entrepreneurs in the prestigious “SusHi Tech Tokyo” startup competition, as well as in acceleration and incubation programs following meetings with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike;
- In cooperation with JICA — support for youth in agriculture based on the “one mahalla – one product” principle, as well as expansion of the JDS program, which provides opportunities for studying at Japanese universities, to other sectors of youth development;
- Organization of capacity-building programs in Japan for youth leaders and mahalla chairpersons, as well as expansion of youth exchange programs between Uzbekistan and Japan;
- Holding the “Uzbekistan – Japan Youth Forum” in cooperation with the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Chamber.
These practical steps and innovative approaches will serve as an important bridge for Uzbek youth to enter the international market and participate in global business projects.
