The "Five Initiatives Olympiad" to promote a reading culture among young families, to widely involve each family member in reading books, and to develop mutual kindness and moral qualities among them.

About 96 thousand young families registered online to participate in the new season of the "Young Reading Family" competition ( for reference, 94 thousand families in 2024 ).

All young families under the age of 30, regardless of nationality, religion, social background, and language, residing in the Republic of Uzbekistan, have the right to participate in the Competition.

Young families (husband and wife) born between 1995 and 2005 are eligible to participate in the competition.

The competition will be organized in 3 stages.

The first stage is the district (city) stage of the competition, where applications from young families are accepted ( register via https://t.me/kitobxonoila_bot ) and participants are selected based on a test (25 test questions are answered). According to the test results, 1 family with the highest score in the district (city) section (selected by retesting among more than 1 family) will gain the right to participate in the next (second) stage.

The second stage of the competition is the regional (Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city) stage, which is held on the basis of the following 2 conditions:

"Connoisseur of works of art" condition. In this condition, an episode or a poetic passage related to the plot of a work is read out. The participant is asked to find the name of this work or a word that is omitted in the poetic passage and comment on its content, idea, and significance.

"Quick Question and Answer" condition. You will be asked to answer 10 questions from the recommended literature (the head of the family must answer 5 questions, and the wife must answer 5 questions). Representatives of 1 winning family will qualify for the republican stage.

The third stage is the Republican stage of the competition , which will be held in the form of a televised competition, based on the following 3 conditions :

Condition 1. The condition of "Connoisseur of works of art".

Condition 2. "Essay writing" condition.

Condition 3. "Quick Q&A" condition.

Winners of the district (city) stage: 1st place - diploma, ticket to the regional stage, 2nd place - 15 books, diploma, 3rd place - 10 books, diploma ;

Winners of the regional stage : 1st place - diploma, ticket to the republican stage, 2nd place - 1 TV 43”, diploma, 3rd place - 1 TV 43”, diploma, all other participants - gifts and certificates ;

Winners of the Republican Stage 1st Place – President gift – “BYD” electric car prize, a set of books, a diploma, 2nd place – a cash prize of 50 million soums, a set of books, a diploma, 3rd place – a cash prize of 30 million soums, a set of books, a diploma, all other participants will be awarded a cash prize of 10 million soums, a set of books, and a certificate.

It should be noted that the entire selection process will be filmed and broadcast in television format.
