In addition to the traditional New Year's gifts, held this year as part of the "Presidential Christmas Tree" by order of the President, a decision was made to open savings deposit accounts for children - this is a small but important step for their future.
Savings deposit accounts were opened for more than 8 thousand orphans and children deprived of parental care aged 0 to 17. The state allocated $ 500 to each such account.
These funds are accumulated from year to year on a capitalization basis. When the child turns 18, he will have the opportunity to use these funds and make his first decisions to take a step into an independent life.
Children over 9 years old and their legal representatives were issued social cards. This was done to ensure convenience, security and transparency.
This support is intended for children in particular need of state care:
orphans and children deprived of parental care living in neighborhoods;
pupils of orphanages, family and small-scale children's homes and SOS children's villages;
children whose parents died while defending the borders of the Motherland;
children undergoing treatment at the children's oncology hospital under the Taskin children's hospice.
Funds from a special deposit account for children undergoing treatment at the Taskin children's hospice can be transferred to a bank card at any time, as needed and upon the request of legal representatives.
This is a symbol of care for each child, trust and confidence in the future.
