Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Meets with EXIM Bank President during President Mirziyoyev’s Official Visit to the USA

On the sidelines of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the United States, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held a meeting with John Jovanovic, President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The discussions covered the implementation of projects in finance, technology, infrastructure modernization, and aviation.
Special focus was placed on cooperation in critical mineral resources (CRM), the development of value chains, and strengthening energy security. The importance of projects supported by EXIM Bank, particularly in gas infrastructure development, was underlined.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to deepen long-term partnership, expand investment and trade, and promote innovation. In this context, the “Uzbekistan–2030” strategy, which envisions raising GDP to USD 200 billion and consolidating the country’s role as a reliable partner, positions cooperation with the United States as a key factor for sustainable growth and innovative development.
