Opening of the New BoMI Finance Center in Tashkent Marks a New Stage in Uzbekistan-Korea Business Partnership

Today, Tashkent hosted the official opening of the new BoMI Finance Center. The ceremony was attended by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Von Do Yong, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, and Kim Dok Yong, CEO of BoMI.
The new complex is a modern 30-story building standing 143.86 meters tall, with a total floor area of over 88,000 m². Constructed in line with international standards, it is designed to withstand earthquakes of up to 9 on the Richter scale. The building is equipped with 12 high-speed elevators with an intelligent control system and offers nearly 500 parking spaces, including designated areas for electric vehicles.
The BoMI Finance Center represents a new stage of business partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. Today, direct Korean investments in Uzbekistan exceed USD 8 billion, with 671 enterprises operating in the country with Korean capital participation. The joint investment portfolio amounts to USD 4.8 billion and encompasses 92 projects.
The opening of the center marks an important step in strengthening bilateral economic cooperation, creating new opportunities for international business in Uzbekistan.
