The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Participated in a Forum in Amman to Enhance Cooperation in the Textile and Garment Industries with Jordan

Representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in a Forum held in Amman dedicated to enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Jordan in the textile and garment industries. The event gathered more than 30 leading companies from both countries, along with representatives of government agencies and business associations.
The opening session featured welcome remarks by Mr. Sanal Kumar, Chairman of the Jordanian Association of Garment and Textile Manufacturers, Dr. Hazem Rahahleh, Director General of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, as well as members of the Uzbek delegation.
During the forum, Uzbekistan presented its investment appeal, highlighting the prospects and competitive advantages of the country’s textile sector. In turn, the Jordanian side delivered an overview of its national industrial sector, including the leather and textile segments, underlining their steady growth and strong export potential.
The program also included B2B sessions, which provided a platform for companies to discuss opportunities for direct cooperation. In addition, negotiations were held with key Jordanian institutions — the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, and the Association of Banks of Jordan.
