Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

 On September 16, 2025, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of Germany in Tashkent as part of preparations for the upcoming intergovernmental consultations scheduled for October 8, 2025.

The parties discussed the agenda of the consultations, underlining the need to engage relevant ministries and agencies. They also reviewed cooperation in healthcare, education, urban development, and climate. Particular emphasis was placed on the signing of an agreement providing for the financing of projects worth EUR 152 million, including grant-based support.

The participants also highlighted the importance of new initiatives in sustainable development, the introduction of advanced technologies, and the expansion of investment partnerships. The upcoming consultations are expected to serve as an important milestone in strengthening strategic cooperation and advancing joint projects.
