Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Negotiations were held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and representatives of the Chinese company Xinjiang Huijia Biotechnology.

Xinjiang Huijia Biotechnology, established in 2021, specializes in the cultivation of stevia and the production of natural sugar substitutes. Today, the company ranks among China’s leading biotechnology manufacturers, processing an average of 10,000 tons of stevia annually. Its products are widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for implementing joint investment projects in Uzbekistan, based on the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation and jointly develop innovative projects in the agro-industrial and biotechnology sectors.
