Minister Laziz Kudratov Presents Certificates to Graduates of the Professional Management Program

On July 28, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony was held at the International Business Center for the 46th cohort of the Professional Management Program (PMP-46), implemented under the Uzbek-Japanese Center.
The event was attended by high-ranking officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and international organizations. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Alisher Paigamov, Head of Department at the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade; Takashi Hattori, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan; Yoshibumi Bito, Head of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office in Uzbekistan; and Hiroo Iwazaki, Co-director of the Uzbek-Japanese Center.
In his speech, Minister Kudratov emphasized that the PMP program plays a crucial role in training a new generation of professional managers equipped with modern knowledge and skills. He noted that the graduates’ acquired expertise will contribute not only to the development of their own businesses but also to the broader economic growth of the country. He also underlined the significance of the Uzbek-Japanese Center as a bridge of friendship and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
According to the Center, the total number of PMP graduates has exceeded 2,500. In 2024, the “Japan Center 2.0” strategy was successfully implemented, significantly expanding the engagement of Japanese and Uzbek business communities in joint events and forums.
As per tradition, the ceremony included an awards segment, recognizing top-performing graduates with honors from JICA, the Presidential Administration, and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
The event concluded with words of gratitude from instructors and graduates, followed by a commemorative group photograph.
