The Second Trade Forum of the Turkic States took place in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, from June 10 to 12, 2025. The event was attended by the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade.
The forum brought together entrepreneurs and business representatives from more than 20 countries. Over 50 Uzbek enterprises participated, showcasing their products under the unified brand "Made in Uzbekistan." Key sectors represented included electronics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, furniture, and construction materials.
As part of the forum, the Ministry’s delegation held a series of B2B meetings and negotiations with Azerbaijan’s major importers. These included leading trade and construction companies such as Greyenstream International, Uni Tiles MMC, International Logistic Group, Nabucco A&C, MR Group, Hayat, Sahil Inshaat 2020, and others.
Uni Tiles MMC expressed particular interest in products from Uzbek manufacturers such as New Best Style, Lux Ceramics Group, Zhong Peng Ceramics Group International, and Ekokerama.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached between Uni Tiles MMC and the UzBuildMaterials Association for the supply of construction materials worth $1 million from Uzbekistan by the end of 2025.
Additionally, New Best Style signed an export contract worth $500,000 with Sahil Inshaat 2020 for the delivery of PVC decorative panels.
Partnerships were also established with the Azerbaijan Association of Builders and Manufacturers (ATIA), with both parties agreeing to enhance bilateral trade in construction materials.
In the textile sector, export agreements were concluded between MMS Universal Trade XI (Azerbaijan) and Artatex (Uzbekistan) for finished knitwear. A separate agreement was reached with Orzu-Teks for the regular supply of 35 tons of dyed knit fabrics.
The total value of export contracts signed amounted to approximately $68 million. This includes 10,000 m² of porcelain tiles, children's and specialized clothing, 5,000 units of climate control equipment, and more.
The export volume is expected to reach $350 million by the end of 2025.
Moreover, a preliminary agreement was reached to open a permanent 1,500 m² showroom for Uzbek products in the Turkic States Trade Center in Baku — a significant step toward ensuring Uzbekistan’s sustained presence in the Azerbaijani market.
