In Hangzhou, the MIIT delegation held negotiations with representatives of Alibaba Group. The parties agreed to launch the Alibaba Export Accelerator – Uzbekistan program for 100 Uzbek companies, as well as enable direct sales of products through Aliexpress, Tmall, and Taobao marketplaces.
Additionally, an agreement was reached with JD.com to establish a “Made in Uzbekistan” online pavilion and supply products in a B2B2C format through logistics hubs in China.
As part of the visit, the delegation participated in the 8th Meeting of the SCO Working Group on E-Commerce. The Uzbek side proposed initiatives to deepen digital transformation, boost export potential through e-platforms, promote inclusive growth based on regional cooperation, and more. These proposals received support from SCO member states.
