On April 24, 2025, Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, conducted a series of strategic events aimed at enhancing the trade, economic, industrial, and investment potential of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The visit commenced with a meeting involving deputy khokims for investment affairs from 17 districts of Karakalpakstan. Each representative delivered presentations on current investment projects underway in their respective districts, outlining challenges and emerging issues. For every matter discussed, specific resolutions were adopted, deadlines were set, and responsible personnel were designated from both local khokimiyats and the Ministry.
As part of the visit’s program, Minister Kudratov traveled to the Karauzak district, where he held meetings with the heads of mahalla citizens' assemblies, including S. Kamalova, Kuybak, Kuralpa, and Karauzak. Discussions focused on local concerns and explored investment-driven solutions tailored to the unique characteristics and potential of each area.
Key issues raised by local residents included the construction of roads and greenhouses, installation of solar panels and pumping stations, infrastructure development, and support for livestock and poultry farming initiatives. In response, a comprehensive "Road Map" was developed for each matter, outlining practical, data-driven solutions based on situational analysis and the capacity of the respective regions.

Following the visit, a set of concrete actions was formulated to address systemic issues faced by citizens and to eliminate obstacles hampering project implementation. Additionally, a mechanism for weekly progress reporting by responsible oficials was introduced to ensure transparency and accountability in execution.
