On April 18, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Russian biotechnology company ALKOR BIO.
The discussions focused on the potential implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan, specifically aimed at localizing the production of diagnostic reagents. This initiative aligns with the country’s strategic objectives to advance its pharmaceutical industry and reduce reliance on imported products.
ALKOR BIO Group of Companies is a leading Russian manufacturer of reagent kits and laboratory diagnostic equipment, specializing in ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technologies.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint collaboration, including the exchange of detailed technical and economic information to assess project parameters and prepare the necessary documentation.
