Roundtable with Slovenian Business Delegation Discusses Investment Opportunities and Future Cooperation with Uzbekistan

A round table discussion involving business representatives from the Republic of Slovenia, led by Maržana Majerik, the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, was held at MIIT.
More than 20 Slovenian companies from various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, construction, tourism, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, and information technology, participated in the event.
The Slovenian partners were introduced to Uzbekistan's investment potential, the favorable conditions established for investors, the benefits and incentives available, as well as the measures implemented to support and protect entrepreneurs.
Specific project initiatives in sectors such as geology, agriculture, textiles and leather, pharmaceuticals, and housing construction were discussed.
B2B and B2G meetings were organized, during which business representatives discussed opportunities for further developing cooperation.
The parties expressed interest in strengthening partnerships and implementing joint investment projects, which will be a significant step toward the further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovenia.
