Uzbekistan Delegation Reaches Agreements on Deepening Economic Cooperation in London

A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, participated in the first meeting of the Joint Economic Committee, the "Uzbekistan Investment Potential Days" event with British business representatives, and several high-level meetings with executives of leading UK companies in London.
During the committee meeting, agreements were reached in key sectors, including banking and finance, transportation, critical mineral mining, IT, and infrastructure.
As a result, an Action Plan was signed to enhance economic cooperation between Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade (MIIT) and the UK’s Department for Services, Small Business, and Export. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded on collaboration in the critical minerals sector.
Furthermore, bilateral meetings with major companies—including Standard Chartered Bank, United Green Group, International Hospitals Group, and Landers Mining—focused on investment prospects in agriculture, healthcare, banking, and finance, among other sectors.
