Uzbekistan showcased its products at Gulfood 2025

From February 17 to 21 of this year, a delegation from the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the largest international exhibition of food and beverages, ‘Gulfood 2025,’ held in Dubai, UAE.
At the in Uzbekistan more than 40 leading Uzbek companies from the food industry and agro-industrial complex showcased their products. The stand featured a diverse array of export items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, legume products, natural juices, mineral water, and other ecologically clean goods. This extensive selection attracted the attention of importers, distributors, and retailers.
The exhibition featured meetings with over 20 prominent retailers, distributors, and sales agents from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC countries. Notable participants included retailers such as Al Maya Group, Lulu, Carrefour UAE, Carrefour Saudi, Choithrams, and Grandiose Hypermarkets. Key distributors included Americana Foods, Family Brands, Lootah Premium Foods, Safco International, and Barakat Quality Plus. Additionally, agents such as OBS Trading LLC, KP Foodstuff, Kainro World, Kamal Luthra General Trading LLC, and Al-Tayeb were also present.
At the same time, an agreement was reached with the management of retailers 'Lulu' and 'Al Maya Retail' to organize shelves featuring 'Made in Uzbekistan' products.
As part of the business program for the exhibition, a delegation from the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, led by Inomjon Abdurakhmanov, Head of the Foreign Trade Department, engaged in discussions with the largest Free Economic Zones (FEZs) in the Middle East, including KEZAD Group, Fujairah, and Dubai Integrated Economic Zones.
The parties discussed the establishment of a distribution center, the creation of business incubators, and the utilization of sorting and storage facilities for the processing and export of Uzbek products to the Middle East and Africa.
Following the discussions, an agreement was reached with NOON, the largest e-commerce platform in the Middle East, to feature Uzbek goods on the platform, utilize bonded warehouses, establish supplies based on STM (own trademark), and organize export supplies in both B2B and B2C formats.
