On January 20 of this year, Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Mohammed Al-Fassam, the executive director of the Saudi company Al Arkan.
During the meeting, they discussed practical steps to develop and implement a comprehensive program focused on safety and hygiene in food production and service processes.
The program encompasses the establishment of a national quality control system for food products, the training of food industry workers in contemporary safety standards, the implementation of training programs to enhance the quality of medical, tourism, and transport services, the modernization of infrastructure, the improvement of professional training, and various other sectors.
The implementation of the project is expected to elevate the leading companies in the country to a new level of service and enhance the production of high-quality food products. This advancement will create a multiplier effect, increasing the volume of services and boosting export supplies of high-quality products that are in demand in both domestic and international markets.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties affirmed their commitment to intensifying collaborative efforts. They designated responsible managers and outlined specific steps to expedite the project's implementation.
