Uzbekistan and Eiffage: Negotiations on Water Supply Project

On October 10 this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with a delegation of the company Eiffage headed by Director of Development and Institutional Relations of the company Nicolas Sureau.
The parties focused on the current state of implementation of the project to ensure uninterrupted water supply to the regions of Uzbekistan.
The practical aspects of conducting pre-design studies and accelerated start of construction were considered. Constructive mutually acceptable approaches to the existing issues have been developed, the format of further interaction and joint measures in the framework of the project promotion were outlined.
Eiffage is a French construction company headquartered in Vélizy-Villacoublay (France). It was formed in 1992 through the merger of Fougerolle and SAE companies. It is one of the leading construction companies in France. It specializes in road construction, power plants, civil engineering and urban development based on PPP and concessions.
