Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On October 26–27, an Uzbek delegation led by Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, paid a working visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan aimed at expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.

During the visit, negotiations were held with representatives of Jordanian government agencies and leading companies. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, geology, mining and transport logistics.

An Uzbekistan–Jordan roundtable was organized jointly with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, bringing together representatives of the business communities of both countries.

Particular attention was paid to developing industrial cooperation, establishing joint production facilities, attracting investment and increasing bilateral trade. Jordanian partners were presented with Uzbekistan’s investment opportunities and favorable business environment.

Following the visit, priority areas for cooperation and potential joint projects were identified, along with further steps towards their practical implementation.
