On October 4 of this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, took part in the signing ceremony of an investment agreement between MIIT and the Italian company Arsenale S.p.A. within the framework of the project to launch a luxury tourist train on the route Tashkent – Samarkand – Bukhara – Khiva.
Arsenale S.p.A was founded in Rome in 2020. Nowadays it is a multi-brand company providing a comprehensive service within the Luuxy hospitality Hotel and Resorts and the luxury train cruising sector in partnership with the finest Luxury Hospitality worldwide brands like Orient Express.
Arsenale S.p.A has sufficient experience - the company implements similar projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
During the event, the Italian side expressed great interest in further developing close cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of tourism and logistics. Confidence was expressed that the implementation of such projects will attract more tourists to our country and present the potential of Uzbekistan to the whole world.
