The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan is launching the selection of entrepreneurs under the “Ready Partner” program who are seeking foreign investment, technology, management expertise, or access to new markets.

The program is open to entrepreneurs with well-prepared proposals. Applicants should be ready to clearly address the following:

the purpose of expanding their existing business and the areas in which investment is intended to be used;
the number of years of practical experience in the relevant sector;
the markets they are currently unable to enter independently and the reasons why;
the countries to which they plan to export their products;
the forms of cooperation they are prepared to offer to a foreign investor.

The main objective of the program is to present foreign investors not merely with a general investment proposal, but with a local partner ready to implement a project and a concrete business proposition, while also directly connecting local entrepreneurs with suitable foreign investors and companies.

The program will select investment-ready and promising projects. Eligible participants include:

entrepreneurs seeking foreign investors to expand their existing businesses;
manufacturers and exporters looking for foreign buyers, distributors, or business partners to enter new markets and increase export volumes.

A key selection criterion will be the project’s practical readiness for cooperation. In particular, consideration will be given to the availability of a specific investment project, the required infrastructure, the target market, the local partner’s own contribution, and the cooperation terms offered to the foreign side. Cooperation may take the form of equity participation, establishment of a joint venture, technology transfer, management support, financing, or other formats.

At the first stage, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade will form a portfolio of ready-to-implement projects based on the selected entrepreneurs, organize meetings with foreign companies, and conduct practical sessions for entrepreneurs on working and negotiating with foreign investors.

The selected projects will be further developed jointly with Ministry specialists. Project parameters, market opportunities, financial indicators, and the terms offered to a foreign partner will be clarified, after which a comprehensive project proposal will be prepared.

At the next stage, foreign companies with the most relevant profile will be identified for each project and targeted B2B meetings will be arranged. The focus will be not on searching for investors in general, but on identifying specific potential partners for each individual project.

“Ready Partner” is not simply a database of projects, but a practical mechanism designed to connect investment-ready businesses with specific foreign investors, buyers, and business partners.
