Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On 4 September, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held an open dialogue with representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting brought together more than 30 business representatives. The discussions focused on the implementation of investment projects, expansion of production capacities, further improvement of the business environment, and the creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity.

Participants raised a number of practical issues, including identifying potential foreign partners, facilitating negotiations with international companies, allocation of land plots, promotion of exports, and addressing administrative barriers.

Each matter raised during the dialogue was considered on an individual basis. A number of issues were resolved on the spot, while relevant clarifications were provided on others in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Matters requiring further consideration were taken under review by the relevant departments of the Ministry. The practice of holding direct and open dialogue with the business community will continue.
