The Uzbekistan delegation, led by Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, visited the Czech Republic on April 16-17. The visit involved high-level negotiations with government officials and senior corporate executives.
Key sectors for strategic cooperation were established, including mechanical engineering, geology and mining, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and energy. The discussions prioritized localized production, technological integration, workforce development, and enhanced energy efficiency, alongside projects focused on critical minerals and high-value-added products.
The parties defined several frameworks for project implementation, such as securing long-term financing, expanding support instruments, fostering inter-enterprise cooperation, and launching joint manufacturing ventures.
As of today, there are 44 enterprises operating within the Republic of Uzbekistan backed by Czech capital.
