Tashkent Hosts Briefing on the 6th International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia”

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a press conference outlining key details of the upcoming 6th International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia.” The event will take place on April 20–22, 2026, in Tashkent at the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan (CAEx) exhibition complex.
The press conference was attended by Ervin Turgunov, Head of Department at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Anton Atrashkin, Program Director of INNOPROM, as well as representatives of Formika, the organizer of the international platform.
Representatives of more than 15 national media outlets in Uzbekistan also participated, including leading TV channels, news agencies, and print publications. The wide media coverage highlights the significance of the exhibition for the country’s economic development.
During the briefing, it was emphasized that over the years “INNOPROM. Central Asia” has established itself as a key international platform for strengthening industrial and trade cooperation in the region. In 2026, the exhibition space is expected to cover 18,000 square meters, with more than 10,000 participants and delegates.
International scope and geography
Organizers highlighted the strong international dimension of the event. To date, companies and official delegations from Uzbekistan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and other countries have confirmed their participation. In total, representatives from more than 20 countries are expected.
Uzbekistan’s national exposition will feature around 400 companies, with over 100 presenting their own stands, while others will participate as visitors and business meeting attendees. Regional representation will also be broad — in particular, delegations from 16 regions of the Russian Federation will showcase their products and potential.
Key areas and business program
The forum’s business program will include 13 specialized sessions.
In his remarks, Anton Atrashkin highlighted the key features of “INNOPROM. Central Asia – 2026,” emphasizing the importance of its large-scale cultural and educational program. These initiatives aim not only to showcase industrial potential but also to provide a comprehensive understanding of participating countries’ capabilities.
The forum is designed to foster business development, strengthen humanitarian ties, and build long-term partnerships, positioning the exhibition as a comprehensive platform for strategic cooperation in Central Asia.
During the Q&A session, participants discussed the extensive agenda of the upcoming event. Particular attention was given to the package of agreements expected to be signed on the sidelines of the exhibition, as well as the cultural program prepared for delegates and guests. Speakers also addressed a range of questions from journalists regarding organizational and content-related aspects.
The international agenda of the exhibition will also include discussions on forming a list of priority projects and establishing coordination groups to facilitate trade.
“INNOPROM. Central Asia” traditionally serves as an effective platform for finding new partners and implementing joint investment initiatives, contributing to economic growth across participating countries.
