Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Olivier Grizard, Head for Central Asia and Azerbaijan at Union de Banques Arabes et Françaises (UBAF).
UBAF is one of the leading banks specializing in international trade finance and support for export-import operations, and plays an important role in developing financial cooperation between European and Arab countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and UBAF in the field of trade finance. Particular attention was paid to providing exporters with financial support, expanding instruments for financing export operations, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
Following the talks, the parties expressed their readiness to expand the use of trade finance instruments, develop export support mechanisms, and strengthen practical cooperation in these areas.
